ROPE SIZING GUIDE
Before you start jumping it's important to get the correct length. To determine this simply step on your rope with one foot and raise the handles as high as you can. The ends of both handles should be inline with your arm pits. However this is different for some people. As you jump the rope should just clip the ground. If the rope is not hitting the ground it is too short, if the rope is slapping the ground it is too long.
You can then adjust the clip in the handle and slide it up/down the PVC to determine the correct length. The clip has two parts, to move the clip simply pull the clip down the rope and both parts should seperate with little force. You can then adjust the length of the PVC and snap the clip back together once adjusted. The excess PVC can then be cut off using scissors.
We recommend tying knots in the rope OR adjusting the clip first to determine the correct length and then using the rope a few times before cutting with scissors.
Height | Rope Length |
4'0" - 4'4" | 7ft |
4'11" - 5'4" | 8ft |
5'5" - 5'11" | 9ft |
6'0" - 6'4"+ | 10ft+ |
The above table is only a guide to the length of the rope, find a size that feels comfortable for you.
